How do I install a shower?

Advice for the installation of your shower

The different steps to install a shower:

  1. Determine the location of the shower and trace the contours with a pencil. Use a level to make sure the lines are parallel to the floor and walls.
  2. Cut the hole according to the manufacturer’s instructions with a jigsaw or circular saw equipped with a special tile blade. Be sure to clean all the layers of material that cover the wall so that they do not interfere with the attachment of the wall panels, if present.
  3. Install the shower tray using appropriate gaskets and clamps (depending on your model). Then attach the faucet to the side of the tank and then connect it to your existing water supply system or install a new system if necessary.
  4. Adjust the height of the knob by sliding or swivelling up or down according to your personal needs and secure it to its final position with screws provided by the manufacturer.
  5. Install the shower panel and other components according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  6. Connect the shower to your existing water supply system or install a new system if necessary.
  7. Test all fittings to ensure that they are properly installed and that water is draining without leaks.
