The different steps for the unclogging of exterior drains by our plumbers:
- First, protect yourself by wearing gloves and goggles.
- Remove anything obstructing the drain entrance, such as leaves, twigs, or other debris.
- Use a ferret or plumbing snake to clean the pipe. Insert it into the drain and move it forward while turning it until it reaches the plug.
- Turn the ferret or snake to help break up or remove debris clogging the drain.
- Remove the ferret or snake and flush the drain with water to remove any residue.
- If the clog is still present, use a pressure washer to push the debris into the main sewer system.
- If the drain is still clogged after these steps, it may be necessary to call a professional plumber to fix the problem.
